There are two airports on the island of St. Lucia. Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort (UVF) is located on the southern end of the island and serves primarily international flights. George F. L. Charles Airport(SLU), formerly known as "Vigie Airport", is located on the outskirts of Castries in the north and is used for inter-island flights.
Visitors to St. Lucia require a valid passport or proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate and photo ID. All visitors also must possess a return or ongoing ticket. Airport departure tax is EC $54.00 (US$21.00).
